MOBILITA’ PORTO SUSTAINABILITY- TEACHING ECO SKILLS

Introduction

The training course on Sustainability was held in Porto from 25th September to 1st October 2022.

We have been offered new and engaging teaching approaches to motivate students towards a conscious and responsible role in contributing to a sustainable future.

• ecological challenges 
• climate change 
• Biodiversity loss 
• circular economy
• Future skills : entrepreneurship and creativity

The different suggested activities allowed us to understand how hands-on experience, mainlymade up of group and pair work, is the most effective method for learning content andimprovingskills in a welcoming and intercultural context of cooperative working and learning by doing.

Learning by doing among peers, with continuous feedback, was led by our trainer assigning tasks and establishing times in a very clear and precise way. 

The pictures show working methods, materials and outcomes. 
The team building method fostered communication within the groups, stimulating creativity and collaboration to achieve common goals, and promoted knowledge through cognitive, sensory and emotional activities. 
Together with our colleagues, primary and secondary school teachers fromGreece, Italy, Romania, Germany, Bulgaria, France and Finland, we got involved, managing to create relationships of sincere respect and friendship.
